My interview with Sally Leachko of Meadowlake Farm Honeybee Products on July 19th was my second with Sally this year on this most important topic.

We will face famine if we don’t stop the assault on our most precious food producers….

Where are the Bees? Who is killing them?

All fruits and vegetable plants are dependent upon bees for pollination to produce the food that both animals and humans need to survive.

My conversation with Sally Leachko revealed that after World War II, Bayer Pharmaceutical, Monsanto, BASF and other chemical warfare companies began to introduce large numbers of Organophosphates [“OP’s”], including “Parathion,” into the marketplace for insect control.

These dangerous chemicals are, in fact, treacherous warfare chemicals designed to kill the nervous system of humans, too.

Bayer’s Pesticide introduced within the last few years is one of the biggest culprits in the disappearance of our Bees. Watch out for anything labeled with “Clothianidin,” made by Bayer.

Bayer, of course, denies any culpability, but the evidence continues to point to this particular pesticide with the colony collapse of millions of Bees in the USA and all over the world.

There is no excuse for killing our planet!

There are healthy, even more effective alternatives to toxic chemicals…. and here are a few web sites to find the information you need to be part of the movement to take back our world [and its future] from chemical warfare companies:

Also visit:

Bayer is not alone in their chemical warfare crimes. There are a handful of dirty players in this highly profitable and reckless industry.

Keep in mind, however, that during World War I, Bayer was involved in the development and manufacture of many poisonous gasses [in fact, the most lethal known to mankind] that were used in the trenches, including Chlorine gas and Mustard gas.

Bayer was and is a subsidiary of AG Farben [or aka, IG Farben]. AG Farben owned Auschwitz, and is the largest chemical warfare manufacturer in this world.

Do you think, for one minute, that they care about your health? Your family? Your well being? Your water supply? Your food supply? Your heartbeat? Your future?

The Nazi Regime from WW II never disappeared as the chemical warfare propaganda wants so desperately for the general population to be lulled into believing; instead, terrifyingly, they simply changed faces and morphed themselves into pharmaceutical [almost benevolent] organizations with Nazi killers at the helm… but invisible to the naked eye of the public.

AG Farben and Bayer Pharmaceuticals were also involved in the development of the next toxic generation of chemical warfare agents, known as “Lawn and Garden” pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers… the technical name for chemists is “Organophosphate Compounds.” They are highly toxic, and are currently sprayed at an alarming rate onto commercially grown [large Agri-business] crops AND sold to the innocent consumer for home use.

Scared yet? You should be. The companies behind the mass murder during warfare are the very same Sociopaths behind the mass extinction of our precious pollinators and of our entire eco-system.

Do you think they give a damn?

“Neo-Nicotinoid” pesticide is also killing our beloved family pets. These terrible insecticides are put into the very lethal serums given to our animal companions for the ‘control’ of Fleas and Ticks.

DON’T BUY IT. There are natural, more healthy alternatives to toxic pesticides. Most good pet stores sell “DeFlea” and other non-toxic and HERBAL cleansers. Don’t allow any misguided, ignorant commercial ad or Veterinarian to force toxic, chemical pesticides upon our pets. I have a cat who was seriously injured, and my neighbor had a dog who was killed by these very insecticides.

My Notable Quotable for this show:

“The future of our fragile, beautiful planet home is in our hands. As God’s family, we are stewards of God’s creation. We can be wantonly irresponsible, or we can be caring and compassionate. God says, ‘I have set before you life and death…. choose life.’ [Deuteronomy 30:19]
— Desmond Tutu, Foreward, “The Green Bible.”

The time is now to DEMAND from our elected officials that Organic farming practices be supported by our tax dollars AND NOT LARGE CHEMICAL COMPANIES!

Can you believe that Organic is more expensive to buy only because the toxic, chemical laden “conventional” labeled fruits and veggies are subsidized generously by our hard earned tax dollars? This is totally horrifying.

Fruits and Veggies that you should ONLY buy Organic:

Green Beans
Sweet Bell Peppers

Bee Colony Collapse Disorder is manmade. Demand the immediate discontinuance of Neo-Nicotinoid pesticides.

Check out Meadowlake Farms, their wonderful website, and their stellar handmade Bee products that I personally use and love…

How to Live the Life of Your Dreams….

July 11, 2010 at 2:18 PM | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

July 5th I interviewed Dianne Gubin, the CEO of Tech Exec Partners.

How do you find your life passion? How do you shift gears?

Check out www.techexecpartners.com to find out more about Dianne Gubin and how she works with CEO’s to recent college grads [and everyone in between!] to focus on their passions in life.

One of the points that many people forget to focus on is BRANDING themselves in life, and in work.

What do I believe in?
What are my passions?
What are my Values?
What do I love doing?
What Social and Political issues do I care about?
Do I love animals, kids, trees, sailing, etc..?

Simple questions help you to navigate how, exactly, to honestly and accurately BRAND yourself.

Dianne reminds us that Celebrities and major companies are mindful about their “branding” and everyone should be, regardless of what your desires in life are:

Dianne asked a great question: “What would you do if you knew you could not fail?”

Great question. I wish someone had asked me this when I was in College. I believe I could have saved myself the horrors of the wrong directions long ago.

But if you have made mistakes…. you are in good company!

The most important question to ask yourself is, “What did I learn?” …. and take the steps to make the immediate changes in your “self-talk” and navigate a new path for yourself. This will include, undoubtedly, re-evaluating yourself, understanding how to make better choices in life, exercising your “intuitive muscle” to better measure people and situations, finding the groups whom you should be associating with, looking at your passions honestly, and finding the correct people who can honorably help you reach your goals in life.

However, even if you have gone down a pathway that was not your true passion and purpose in life, YOU can take the steps to “error correct” your life and step right into the life of your dreams. Never give up.

Time is finite. Life really is short, so get naturally healthy [I have had several shows on this and will continue to do so], be mindful, be connected to a greater cause, volunteer for something you love, be a Player in this one, precious life.

Your life purpose is waiting for you to garner the self-actualization [and self esteem] to take the new path to your dream life….

My quotable for this show was “The Starfish Story”:

A man was walking along
the beach and saw a lone figure dancing about.
Fascinated, he moved closer.
He realized that the young man was not dancing,
but in one graceful movement was picking objects up
from the beach and tossing them out into the sea.

As he approached closer,
he saw that the objects were starfish.

“Why are you throwing starfish into the water?”

“If the starfish are still on the beach
when the tide goes out, they will die.”
replied the young man as he continued
tossing them out to the sea.

“That’s ridiculous! There are thousands of miles
of beaches and millions of stranded starfish.
You can’t possibly make a difference!”

The young man picked up another starfish,
paused thoughtfully
and remarked as he tossed it out into the waves,
“It makes a difference to this one!”

—- my favorite story to live by.

Peace and Love.

Please Adopt A Pet…

July 11, 2010 at 1:17 PM | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment

There are millions of cats, dogs, and even exotic pets who need adoption and are waiting, RIGHT THIS MOMENT, for a good home.

DO NOT BUY a pet from a “Breeder!” Breeders are irresponsible, and are adding to the overpopulation problem…. and even worse, they dump their surplus animals [like trash] at the local Shelter!

Thanks to Northwind Kennels in Bedford, New York, and to Adopt-A-Dog in Bedford, NY and Greenwich, CT for helping me with the RESCUE of 3 dogs and 4 kittens that would have been EXECUTED [or the polite term is ‘euthanized’] in a horrible Shelter in Virginia.

A VERY Special Thanks to Jerry Sica, the Volunteer Pilot with “Pilots ‘n Paws” who took the incredible time to fly to Richmond, Virginia, on a FRIDAY night to rescue these sweet angels!

The three dogs are up for adoption at Northwind Kennels. I am fostering the four cutie-pie kittens who are so amazingly gorgeous that I am overwhelmed whenever I hold one of them and tell them how they were valiantly rescued by a team of good people!

Becoming A Genius

July 11, 2010 at 12:59 PM | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a comment

What is the Myelin Sheath?

Albert Einstein had more of it than anyone else…. can you get it for your brain and will it make you smarter?

My interview with Author Daniel Coyle about his book, “The Talent Code: Greatness Isn’t Born. It’s Grown. Here’s How,” on June 28th, uncovers the mystery behind genius and the making of Genius.

The Myelin Sheath is what makes you smarter, better, faster, accurate, more intelligent, gives you better memory, and even helps you organize your life and focus.

Daniel Coyle travelled around the world in 2006 to visit what he calls “Chicken Wire Harvards” that produce some of the greatest athletes, musicians, top thinkers and what we would call “Geniuses.”

When you practice LEARNING something new, and then use slow, repetitive motions [actions] to perfect the skill…. you are building your Myelin Sheath!

“Use IT or lose it!” should be the motto here. What Daniel Coyle discovered that all of these hotbeds of talent had in common was the value of making mistakes in practice, then learning from them, and then going back and SLOWLY repeating the correct motion, pattern, etc., BEFORE practicing speed.

Mistakes are a valuable part of the process. They help you to literally build your brain power by building the Myelin Sheath when you re-trace yourself, learn from the mistake, and then replace the mistake with the correct action, thought pattern, etc.

Daniel interviewed everyone from Skateboard champions, Brazilian Soccer Star trainers, a Voice Coach who has produced several pop stars, An infamous Tennis Camp in Russia, and Musicians and Researchers in the subject….

The great message that I took from this amazing [MUST READ] Book is that you, the individual, must focus on what you are good at and what you are PASSIONATE ABOUT. Then, the practice you give to the honing of the skill you desire should be repetitive, mindful, focused, and one that puts you into the “Zone” of deep concentration.

The TIME you put into practice daily is less important than the focus, and the repetitive, slow-motion learning of the skill before you bring speed to the skill.

“Excellence is a Habit.” — Aristotle

Yes, you can be a Genius. Build your Myelin Sheath.

Reading, learning something new, being challenged physically and mentally ALL build Myelin.

Find your passion. Focus on IT deeply and live, breathe, be better at this passion by making the time to learn it well.
