My conversation with Dr. Sherrill Sellman on June 9th was, for so many of us, shocking!
The Birth Control Pill is a tragedy that has entrapped women into thinking it is safe [when it is most certainly NOT] or that it helps to “regulate” menstrual cycles [when it can permanently damage your body in numerous ways]. The bottom line: Women are BIG BUSINESS for the pharmaceutical industry, and they have found a way to manipulate Gynecologists with the lie of prescribing the ever-dangerous Birth Control Pill to young women, and then onto just another re-packaged form of the Birth Control Pill to menopausal women in the form of HRT [Hormone Replacement Therapy]. It is a racket beyond all racketeering, but the money from the sale of these hormone DISRUPTING drugs along with the secondary damages from the toxicity of these drugs [e.g., heart attack, stroke, cancer, bone loss, digestion injuries, killing of natural enzymes and probiotics everyone is born with but drugs destroy]. The list is endless when you look at the residual issues the synthetic hormone pills can cause.
The Birth Control pill is part of the Hormone Heresy that has now morphed itself into the “Hormone Replacement” craze.
Even “Bio-Identical” Hormones are not the holistically right choice, as it stops your body from producing its own hormones naturally.
Dr. Sellman pointed out that when your body is toxic, and is subjected to processed food [including restaurant food] daily, weekly, monthly, then yearly… along with Xeno-Estrogens from pharmaceutical drugs, pesticides, fertilizers, chemicalized hair color and makeup/personal care products… then you have a lethal combination that has pushed your body into being ESTROGEN DOMINANT.
How do you heal yourself and balance your hormones naturally?
1.) Stop using chemicals in your house, garden, yard, in your makeup and body care, and get off the Birth Control pill. Find a natural practitioner to get you safely off of pharmaceutical drugs, if possible. This adds to your body’s load of heavy metals and Liver intoxication.
2.) Choose natural and pure cleaning products [baking soda for scrubs, vinegar/water/essential oils for spray cleaning around the house], choose natural gardening products, choose Henna over chemical hair colors, choose natural/organic/artisan made make-up and skin care [lots of brands to choose from].
3.) CLEAN out your body with an Herbal Cleanse. You may also want to use a powdered Oxygen Cleanse as well nightly to really help clean your body of the daily onslaught of Xeno-estrogens.
4.) USE NATURAL PROGESTERONE CREAM. Wild Yam cream is also helpful, along with Maca powder in your smoothies. I love Maca Powder in my Organic Cacao with coconut milk every morning. YUM! You can also get Maca in the capsule form.
5.) For sweeteners: Dr. Sellman suggests ONLY Stevia and Xylitol. They come in convenient packs for travel and taking into the office, etc. I was surprised to learn, contrary to what I was taught in Nutrition School, that natural foods like “Agave” and even “Brown Rice Syrup” and “Maple Syrup” are not good choices and should be avoided on a daily basis because they are stored as fat in a body that is dealing with high Estrogen to begin with… and Estrogen is often stored in fat, so you start on a vicious circle. So, stop the vicious circle!
6.) Milk Thistle, Dandelion and Herbal Liver Cleanses. At the very least, give yourself a Liver Cleanse every 6 months. However, I take both Milk Thistle and Dandelion every day. Your skin will love you for this, and your body will better process the daily food intake and even little stresses that we all have to deal with in modern life.
7.) Stay AWAY from Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and other “over the counter” drugs for pain. These are highly toxic to the Liver and Kidneys. Instead, get some Vitamin D3 [balances your emotions, a great daily vitamin when it is a Whole food vitamin and NOT a processed, cheaply manufactured 'vitamin'.] Also, take NIACIN for any pain and a multi-spectrum B Vitmain. Turmeric is excellent for aches and pains, and headaches. The herb Feverfew is also a good choice for stress related headaches along with other herbal multi-spectrum capsules are all available in Whole Foods or a high quality health food store. The point here: GET OFF THE CHEMICALS FROM DRUG STORES! DON’T BUY INTO THE LIES THEY TELL YOU… THEY ARE SELLING YOU TOXIC, LIVER DAMAGING DRUGS FOR PAIN AND OTHER AILMENTS! USE NATURAL REMEDIES THAT ARE THE ONLY CHOICE IF YOU WANT TO LIVE A LIFE OF TRUE HEALTH AND WELLNESS.
8.) When you are detoxing, stay away from Dairy products. Choose Coconut milk, or Almond milk, Hazelnut milk, Cashew milk… many choices. You can even learn to make your own. Cashew milk is easy: you soak cashews in a bowl of spring water over night, in the morning, you drain cashews, then put into a high quality processor like the “Vita Mix” with some fresh spring water, and Voila! You have yummy, creamy Cashew milk!
On your SPROUTED GRAIN BREAD OR RICE BREAD [NO processed bread, wheat bread, etc.] you can use Coconut Oil rather than Butter. If you must use Butter, I would suggest you get LOCAL, Organic, Small Farm Butter. However, I would not recommend you have any Dairy products during your initial cleansing time.
Cook with Coconut Oil or Macadamia Nut oil. NEVER use Olive Oil for high heat or any cooking. I literally cringe when I see TV chefs do this foolish mistake… Olive Oil changes chemistry when it is heated and becomes a toxic product under high heat. Olive Oil is GREAT for you when served room temperature. Use on salads or AFTER the pasta is cooked as a tasty and wise-food choice seasoning.
A first time cleanse should take a month or so. Make sure you get a Whole Body Herbal Cleanse, a Liver Cleanse, and a Candida Cleanse. You can start the Liver Cleanse first for one week, then add in the Candida cleanse to coincide with the Liver cleansing and then finally, the Whole Body Cleanse.
It is a daily practice that you will re-establish in your life. Make each change a mindful and even joyful choice to finding a better way to healing without having to spend your money on Doctors of any kind. Instead, learn to clean your body naturally and make healing daily practices your new lifestyle.
Take control of your health by knowing what food choices to make daily and how to rid your body naturally of the overload of Estrogen that causes the Hot Flashes, weight gain, night sweats, mood swings, etc.
All of my shows build upon each other. When you see that we have been lied to and literally intoxicated with pharmaceutical drugs, Fluoridated toxic toothpastes and water, degenerated and chemicalized food, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, dead soil from big agribusiness chemical processes, toxic benzene levels from car exhaust and even home paint cans…. you can see where the imbalance in hormones comes from.
