It is astonishing to me how, after Hippocrates [known as the 'FATHER' of all medicine] had stated many eons ago “Let Food Be Thy Medicine, and Medicine Be Thy Food”…. we are still seeing both human and animal Doctors devoid of any Nutritional knowledge.
I believe that because our Medical and Veterinary Schools are funded by the big pharmaceutical and processed foods conglomerates, this most-important LINK to health is deliberately ignored entirely in the training programs.
Thus, you need to be your pets advocate.
1.) Think of their food choices as life giving: They need species-appropriate food to feed their unique biological and physiological bodies.
2.) Cats are Carnivores. Dogs are too, but slightly less so. They can have SOME grains. However, Both need high quality food to thrive. Horses and larger Vegetarian animals also have specific food needs that will keep them healthy and happy for many years.
3.) Buy from local, Community Supported Agriculture associations/groups in your State. Their are many who will deliver fresh vegetables, fruits, and humanely raised meats to your town or even to your door once a week! Be sure to visit your local outdoor Farmer’s market whenever you can. This is one of the most economical ways to get great food for both you and your pets at a fraction of the cost of a high-end Organic Grocer.
4.) Cats should not have grains. This, to my recent discovery, can cause serious imbalances in their digestion and even cause bladder stones.
I do a “trio” feeding regimen:
a.) High quality raw meat [mixed with veggies] that I first freeze, then thaw [and will 'blanche' with hot water on the outside in a glass pyrex pan to make it warm and inviting to eat.]
b.) I buy ONLY high quality canned/dehydrated food and treats made in small batches in the USA ONLY! Some great brands are Weruva, Stella and Chewy’s, Wysong, Spot’s Stew, Lotus, Organix, Orijen, Country Naturals, Tropical Traditions [frozen Raw food that is excellent], Fromm, Halo [dehydrated treats], and Whole Life [dehydrated treats]. There are other good brands like Holistic Pet, so be sure to have an in-depth conversation with a Pet Nutritionist or a small, high-end Pet store that is truly honest. Additionally, there are some New Zealand made natural foods, but you still need to do your homework on these and make certain they are NOT made in China!
BUY NOTHING FROM CHINA WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR PET’S FOOD! TOO MANY BELOVED ANIMALS ARE DYING FROM CONTAMINATED, FILTHY, HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE FOOD “PROCESSED” IN CHINA!
c.) High quality dry food from the above named companies. This is given NOT as their main meal, but more as a small treat in a bowl. However, I prefer to give the dehydrated chicken and Bonito fish flakes [you get in the Asian section in any good food store] in a bowl for snacks throughout the day.
Finally, you should be adding Probiotics, Enzymes, Green Powder, either Chia Seeds or Flax Seeds and Flax Oil to your pets food is key to maintaining a successful protocol.
Especially when your pet has been ill, you MUST look at their food sources.
Animals are here to give us incredible love, wisdom, truth, and Guidance from the Divine. There is no question about it.
The current medical system of only harsh drugs and aggressive surgeries are taking way too many lives [both Human and Animal].
Look at the natural alternatives that are certainly more gentle in healing, and in maintaining true health.
Any pet trying to recover from any illness needs additional probiotics, minerals, and herbal remedies [I love "Animals Apawthecary," and "Amber Technology" along with "Pet Wellbeing" and "Pet Alive" and "Vetionx Homeopathics."] Cranberry Powder is great for Urinary issues, along with Homeopathic Remedies such as “Nux Vomica 30C,” “Causticum 30C,” and the really important remedy of “Urtica Urens 200C.” You can get these from Washington Homeopathics via mail order. Whole Foods will sell the 30C remedy strength.
Also, learn how to give subcutaneous fluids properly and safely. This can literally be a lifesaver. I buy Lactated Ringers bags and small needles [22 gauge] from an online store called “Atlantic Medical.” Any good Veterinarian or Vet Tech can teach you how to give sub-q fluids and you can work with your Vet on how much to give. My 7 pound cat got 100 cc’s every day when she really needed it. This helped with getting the much-needed electrolytes into her body.
Another good thing to include in your loving regimen for any animal who needs extra care is to have some Witch Hazel and Rose Water to help clean them with a warm wash cloth. I even bought a baby’s soft hair brush to brush my kitty softly when she was not able to fully clean herself. This is very healing, and a kind act of love that will also help the two of you bond even closer while the process of healing [or even the process of transitioning] takes place.
Lastly, vaccines are filled with highly corrosive, toxic and dangerous by-products like Formaldehyde, Aluminum, Mercury, live Viruses, and Chemicals that have no business being shot into your arm or into your animal’s body. These have been linked to many degenerative dis-eases, including aggressive cancers and even diabetes. Learn the facts about the dangers of Vaccines, and do not let any bad Veterinarian bamboozle you into shooting up your beloved pet!
Remember, the Vet AND the Pharmaceutical company are held LEGALLY “Harmless” from any and all damages and death they cause from administering a vaccine! Who would ever imagine that any industry would enjoy such immunity from any responsibility.

Horrifyingly, I have had two cats abused and killed by Vets who advertised and marketed themselves as “Holistic.”

Look at the lies and spin doctoring you see from this particular Administration alone. They say one thing, but do an entirely different thing once elected.
Mr. Obama made promises to Environmentalists and Advocates for Conservation, but instead appointed an evil entity like Ken Salazar into the Cabinet to rule with a bloody hand over the Department of Interior.
Bureaucratic corruption at its worst.

The Bureau of Land Management [BLM], under the direction of a bloodthirsty and corrupted Cattle Rancher named “Bob Abbey” has revved up its taxpayer wasting programs to illegally round-up and kill our beautiful American Wild Horses and Burros.
This abomination and abuse of perceived power on their part is one of the most wretched “programs” that overtly wastes hard-earned taxpayer money.
These round-ups are illegal and were declared illegal by an act of Congress in 1971. What the heck is going on?
Well, when you appoint people like Ken Salazar, another oil/cattleman, to high places like The Secretary of The Department of Interior… You get more bad people like Bob Abbey and his dubious third-party “contractors” who have long histories of abuse on their public record… Add all of these elements together with an incompetent President who thinks nothing of throwing money at bad “programs” regardless of its disastrous consequences… and you have the recipe for Fraud and OVERT abuse.
My conversation with Attorney Bruce Wagman, Partner with Schiff Hardin in San Francisco, struck a chord with me and with thousands of people who heard the broadcast.
Many people are aware of Obama’s abuse of our tax dollars, ridiculous big-government programs, and Czar-appointed behavior, but they had NO IDEA that Obama was THIS BAD!
A joke, a song, a two-step, a scheme, a pretentious act of Diplomacy does not cover nor conceal the truth of the actual behavior and choices any person makes.

This is dangerous to the health of the planet, to all living beings, and certainly to the future of our food quality and Nutrition.
Remember, you CANNOT be healthy without healing foods. This is impossible.
It is disturbing to see the Propaganda of misrepresentation and outright lies today with Michelle Obama planting an Organic Garden in the lawn of the White House, as though this is going to smooth over the betrayal of our food supply to the millions of unsuspecting people who buy their groceries that are NOT rightfully, truthfully labeled as “Toxic” “Pesticide/Agent Orange Dangerous” or “GMO Frankenstein Food.”
See the irony? See the double-talk? See the Propaganda? See the spin-doctoring?
Don’t be fooled.
We are the people who have to stand up for REAL FOOD and stop this Frankenstein-food disaster from unfolding beyond the wretched damage it has already done.
Small Farmers are being relentlessly pursued, SUED, harassed, and forced to close-up their Farms as a result of the Genetically Modified seeds blowing in the wind and contaminating their Organic crops.
How crazy is this? The US Government does NOTHING to support or protect our Organic, Local Farmers and THEIR RIGHTS but they give taxpayer money, bailouts, and corporate welfare to these dangerous, environment destroying, monolithic, reckless, aggressive, arrogant, chemicalized, life-destroying companies?
What is Mr. Obama thinking? Why is someone so corrupt as Tom Vilsack and every knucklehead he oversees and hires at the USDA given a reign of terror over the American consumer, farmer, body of water, and all life?
The time is now to fight back. Regardless of your personal Political viewpoint, you cannot ignore these facts. They are surprising and truly shocking, but you need to know about them to do something to save your own life, the future of your heritage, the future of all food sources.

Animal Testing has long been known, by the most brilliant and visionary minds, to be an outright lie and betrayal to society as a whole.
Below is a web site that gives us revealing quotes from researchers themselves admitting the abysmal defeat that using animals has been in finding anything close to ‘the cure’ for various dis-eases that seem to plague modern society in ever greater numbers as more chemicals, petrochemicals, pesticides, vaccines, heavy metals, processed food, and other stupidity continues to pummeled on the innocent consumer:
The horrifying cruelty and the diabolical practices of vivisection would shut down this evil industry if the general public were clued into this cruelty every night on the national news. And make no mistake, it is an invisible industry that likes to take taxpayer money for this dirty practice but remains in the shadows, nearly unnoticed by most hardworking Americans.
Who in God’s name shut their eyes to the pain and suffering of these animals and granted the torture of innocent living beings? How can this possibly be “packaged and sold” to the public with a Benevolent face?
Propaganda and marketing… along with political lobbying and uncouth bribes have created a paradigm of outright terrorism.
And even more shocking is the fact that MOST animal testing is for Cosmetics [the toxic ones] and for household cleaners! So, only 6% is for “finding the cure” to something… but as stated earlier, the cure never comes by way of animal testing.
This is gross misconduct and deception that defies all reason.
And by the way, I have covered several times on my show, and subsequently in my blogs, the healthy and gorgeous alternatives to toxic cosmetics and also to household cleansers.
You can make the BEST cleansers yourself! Get a spray bottle, and fill it 1/2 way with either white vinegar or cheap vodka. Then fill the other 1/2 with water. Get some Essential Oils, such as Lavendar or Peppermint… drop in a few drops to your liking… shake it all together…. and you have the best household cleaner that smells divine and cleanses better than any toxic chemical could ever dream of…. and it’s cost efficient, too!
Need a scrub for your tub? Baking Soda.
There is also an Oxygen powder that is very good to use and good for the Environment, too.
And, to sum this all up, chemicals in medicine are all a lie, too. There is no drug [NO DRUG] that can heal you. It can mask symptoms, but it never heals. It will, however, cause nasty side-effects and might damage other unrelated organs along the way… what a tragedy. Really.
Holistic, natural healing is the only way to stay healthy. To seek the amazing powers of nature is the one way you can steer clear of becoming one of millions of victims every year that die at the hands of the bloody, big-pharmaceutical paradigm.
Chemical-laden medicine is straight out of Nazi Germany. Why some people have a difficult time understanding this [and even deny it altogether] is just a manifestation of the powerful use of Propaganda that the Third Reich invented, established and then sold to the American Government.
Chronic dis-ease is caused by chemical and petrochemical pollution. Added to this toxic mess is vaccines, then processed food, then pesticides and herbicides and even lawn products like chemical fertilizers. THEN add to this personal products like commercial deodorant, which most often contains Aluminum that soak right into your blood stream… and other products like dental materials [you really need to do your research here and protect yourself], fluoride, chlorine, radiation, and nuclear testing… there is certainly a long list…. but the only way to fight the enemy is to KNOW thine enemy!
Animal testing should never have been part of what is called medical research. Again, the buffoons that put this horrifying terrorism in place have a special place in Hell waiting for them. No kidding here. This is totally diabolical. Straight from Satan himself: torture innocent, living, sentient beings for profit?
It will take every one of us to fight this horror. Mr. Obama is part of the evil, as he was paid off and bribed by ALL of the above entities with campaign contributions and continued bribes throughout his short time in office. And by the way to anyone who can’t wrap their brains around the fact that Obama is one of the most evil, incompetent, and self-serving individuals to have sat in the Oval Office… Keep in mind, that just YESTERDAY, this lost soul signed into law a RETURN TO HORSE SLAUGHTER IN THE UNITED STATES!

Part I: Clean, Green Cosmetics ARE Beautiful, Lifesaving, Honorable, And Cool!
The consumer buying choices you make for your skin care, make up, hair care, home cleaning products, gardening/lawn products, baby products, and food…. they all add up in a big way and affect your health, longevity, quality of life.
In part I of my radio show today, October 29th, 2011, my conversation with Marj Melchiors of Cosmetics Without Synthetics was timely and important for all women, teens, and everyone.

There are a ton of toxic, harmful ingredients in sunscreen, make up, lotions, bath/shower gels, hair care, baby products, and pet products…. Why? This is a ‘wild west’ in the business world, and there are virtually no regulations whatsoever. Thus, you need to be wise enough to take action for your health and be your own advocate. The FDA and other incompetent tax-draining agencies have no interest in the safety of cosmetics and the MANY chemical ingredients that are in the daily lotions and potions most consumers assume are safe and then slather onto their skin.
Be careful of anything you cannot pronounce… and even seemingly innocent words like “parfum” are just another way of hiding more than 200 toxic chemicals that make the synthesized, desired scent the manufacturer desires for their product.
Instead, look for “Essential Oils” as the natural, holistic, healing, honorable way to bring fragrance to a beauty lotion/potion/make-up/hair care.
Be careful of ALL “Parabens” such as Methyl-paraben, and propyl-paraben. These are toxic preservatives.
Be careful of anything with Propylene Glycol. This is extremely toxic. It makes a lotion or shampoo/make-up more viscous and keeps something in a liquid state. However, the goons that make the commercialized products KNOW this stuff is horribly intoxicating and dangerous to the body. It goes directly through the skin, into the blood stream, and then your Liver and Kidneys are left to deal with yet one more toxic chemical.
Instead, a good company will use natural oils and Glycerin to make the desired viscosity for any products they make. These natural oils are actually healing and beautifying to the skin.
Another really dangerous ingredient is “PEG” or Poly-ethylene Glycol. There is usually a number after the acronym of “PEG.” Be VERY careful of this and NEVER buy a product with this ingredient. Super toxic, very bad for the body, and certainly bad for the waterways it gets washed into and pollutes the oceans and drinking water.
Please make sure you take control of your life by reading up on the unsavory practices of most cosmetics companies that puts their own bottom-line before your health, wellbeing, safety, life.
Clean, pure cosmetics is something to get excited about.

I cannot repeat enough times how incredibly diabolical the ‘vaccine industry’ is to both people and to animals.
As Dr. Blake confirmed in our conversation on the air, vaccines have never been proven to be safe or even effective! Yikes! What are we allowing to be shot into the bodies of our innocent pets?
And why is it always the mentality with way too many Vets that vaccines are remotely safe and even necessary? Who REALLY taught these Vets their medical information when they were in Veterinary school? And why is it “one size of vaccine fits all” mentality?
Looks like our Veterinary Schools have been corrupted by the very same system that corrupted the human medical schools…. the big pharma-chemical paradigm.
What about food? Food IS medicine. It can also be a killer. The choices you make as a ‘pet parent’ can bring life or bring dis-ease and death to your beloved pet.
Understand the ingredients in commercial pet foods, and avoid mass-produced, chemical laden pet food brands [that are, ironically, sold relentlessly in Veterinarian offices!]
Enzymes are key to your health and your animals’ health. Everyone needs digestive Enzymes and proper nutrients to nourish the body.
I love a product called “Green Mush” by Healthforce Nutritionals along with digestive Enzymes and probiotics for my pets. I also put some Flax Seed oil into their food, too. A great product called “Salba” or ground flax seeds gives some help to the digestion, and your pet will start to have a better life with giving such health giving supplements to them.
RAW food, human-grade, Organic, free range, humane. I am personally a Vegetarian, but I realize that my Cats are natural predators and need to eat meat. I buy them human grade, Organic, local meat from humane farms. I give them Raw plus the best canned food I can buy. Some brands I personally like are “Spots Stew” and “Weruva” among other good brands that make small batches, honorably made pet food.
Among the many topics discussed with Dr. Blake today, the wretched Chemicals used for “Flea” and other parasite infestations are DEADLY to our animals. They cause dis-ease, cancer, thyroid and other degenerative conditions.
Avoid ALL products that you can buy from the pet store OR your Vet where you put a chemically laden toxic soup between the back shoulder blades of your beloved pet!
Have you ever asked yourself WHY these products have to be placed between the back shoulder blades? This is crazy. It is so highly toxic that when YOU touch these chemical products, YOU will get sick, too. It trans-dermally soaks through your skin and right into your blood stream.
Horrible. Who is in charge here to oversee these toxic Chemicals? Again, it is the “Wild West” with the chemical industry machine.

I like to use anything with NEEM oil in it. It works wonders on unwanted pests. There are shampoos, and even sprays. You should also always put some Garlic into your pets food, and this certainly helps to keep away unwanted parasites and fleas. I like to buy the “Kyolic” brand in capsules. You open some capsules and mix it into your pets food [depending upon the size of your pet.] You can also chop up some Organic, fresh Garlic and put it into your pets food, too, if you prefer.
Be the advocate for your family that you have to be today.
Be a voice with your local and nationally elected [asleep at the wheel] Government officials. I have no idea how these men and women, whose jobs it is to simply protect the taxpayer/consumer/citizen/environment, can ignore their obvious duties to this world. It defies all logic that they are so ignorant to these clear and present dangers in our world that are easily expunged if they only had the backbone and the will to do so.
I send Love to all the animals whose lives have been cut short from vaccines, toxic food, and other chemicals that should never have been allowed into the market place. Our voices have to lift higher and louder to remove these toxins from the “mainstream” Veterinarian practices.

To say that the act of wrongful practices within what is dubiously termed “scientific research” involving animal testing is harmful to both humans and to the entire animal world is an understatement. This is a heinous practice that took hold during the Third Reich reign in Europe, as mad scientists were testing their chemical warfare and other diabolical inventions on both the human prisoners and on animals.
Why has the U.S. Government not bothered to ask the simple question of whether or not this junk science is worthy of billions of hard earned tax dollars… and even safe to rely upon? What about the ETHICAL questions of gruesome testing habits and horrifying practices? Where do these questions ever get asked or responded to in public Debates or interviews?
Why the silence from compliant, under-educated Media talking heads who know nothing about this shameful waste of money and life?
Is this acceptable, reasonable, or even progressive? How can every single elected member to both the Congress and the Senate turn a blind eye to this horrifying waste of tax payer money and of innocent living beings? The suffering is evident. The lies and deception are unmistakable. So why the ignorance continued?

Why would anyone STILL be so ugly, ignorant, downright stupid and pathetic to still wear a fur skin that was literally ripped off the body of another living being? Who ever deemed this “glamour?” A hideous reality is behind every piece of Fur skin, whether it be a fur collar or a full fur length coat: Don’t be so damn ugly to think you look cool with blood on your soul.
The hideous horror behind every Fur garment is beyond what most people can even imagine. Be a voice for these innocent, sentient beings.
Who are the Dummies who wear fur without the brain cells to ask about the suffering, blood, horror behind a murdered and chemically processed living being?

Part II: Angels Gate Sanctuary. www.angelsgate.org
1.) Please always ADOPT and never buy an animal from a breeder, store front, internet, etc. Why? The suffering that the surplus of animals has caused is astronomical, and the “puppy mills” and other “animal mills” that these animals are mostly from are factories of filth, abuse, neglect, and fear. ALL of these factories should be ILLEGAL in every State, but the wheels of logic in our over-bloated Government turn way too slowly. YOU, the Consumer, need to be the voice of change for these innocent living beings who are suffering right now as I write this blog entry.
2.) Breeders send their own surplus to the public Shelters. They are causing havoc for the many millions of animals who are Euthanized every year simply because there is not enough room or even tax payer finances [allocated by over-bloated Governments] to create a Shelter system that actually WORKS. Too many animals are killed rather than adopted…. and a lot of this has to do with Breeders. Don’t buy their twisted rhetoric, and certainly don’t buy an animal. ADOPT.
3.) Why would anyone attack Susan Marino, the Director of Angels Gate? This amazing Hospice for animals is one of only a handful in the USA, and they depend entirely on donations from the caring citizens who want to be part of the change they wish to see in this world.
4.) I have known Susan for quite some time now, and she is one of those very honorable, and wonderful persons who gives of her daily life to bring a place of rest and sanctuary to animals in need.
5.) Susan helped me with O’Neill, a beautiful, gray tiger cat whom I had helped rescue in 2004 off the streets of Brooklyn when his ignorant guardians threw him out in the middle of the Winter to fend for himself. Why would anyone be that pathetic, dysfunctional, and disrespectful to treat one of God’s creatures with such hatred? Where do all of the “Haters” come from?
6.) O’Neill lived out his life at Angels Gate since he had contracted Leukemia while he was trying his best to fend for himself in the cold, below freezing temperatures for way too long before I got the call to rescue him.
7.) It was an honor to have saved O’Neill. His big green eyes, his beautiful and kind spirit, his thankfulness and his resilience will always be with me for the rest of my life. I know he will be there to greet me at the gates of Heaven when my time comes…. and all of the amazing animals whose lives have touched me so gracefully will be there…. I am so honored to be living my life everyday with God’s messengers around me.
8.) Every time I look at the stars in the sky, I see the different colors of the eyes of the many animals whose spirits have passed from this world. I see green, blue, gold, yellow, amber…. they are like light houses in the sky to guide me, and to remind me of the ephemeralness of life, and the reason why I am here. Eternity awaits all living beings, and I believe you can choose, while here on Earth, what Eternity you deserve.
Please be a big advocate for animals in your everyday life. Be a hero when you are called [even when it's not convenient, etc.] and say something, do something, be something today that could make all the difference for another living being.
